All Saints to Provide Service for all KanCare Health Plans

All Saints Home Care, Inc., is pleased to announce our joining all 3 provider networks for the upcoming KanCare transition. The KanCare program is the State of Kansas’ plan to transition Kansas Medicaid into an integrated care model. Kansas has contracted with three new health plans, or managed care organizations (MCOs), to begin coordinating health care for nearly all Medicaid beneficiaries. The KanCare program is scheduled to begin in January 2013. The KanCare health plans are Amerigroup of Kansas, Inc. (Amerigroup), Sunflower State Health Plan (Sunflower), and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Kansas (United).

Assurance Phone Program

As you may know, the state of Kansas implemented the IVR phone system in January of this year.  The system requires workers to use their clients’ phone to clock in and out for their shifts.  We are aware of different issues that prevent some clients from using this system, most likely because they do not have a phone at all, they have a cell phone with limited minutes or a phone that is unreliable.

It is our goal to help all of our clients obtain a phone, at no expense to them, so that they can be in compliance with the state IVR phone system. Attached below, please find an application for an Assurance Wireless phone.  This is a program funded by the state of Kansas to people who are unable to afford a phone on their own.

We sincerely hope this information will prove useful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Carrie at (316) 755-1076, ext. 104.

Financial Management Services

All Saints Home Care is proud to announce that Kansas SRS and Department on Aging have both approved our application to provide Financial Management Services, statewide.  As many of you know, effective November 1, the state will transform it's current Self-Directed programs to what is now called FMS.  This transformation was made mandatory by the federal government, and splits the monies paid to providers between one ammount to be paid to Direct Support Workers and another monthly fee to be paid to the provider for their administrative costs.
